PURPOSE: A badminton shuttlecock having a light emitting device is provided, which prevent a lighting-emitting unit from being easily separated by impact in use. CONSTITUTION: A badminton shuttlecock having a light emitting device comprises: a wing portion(2) made of feather or synthetic resin; a head unit(4); a connection part(6) interlinking the wing portion and head unit; and a lighting-emitting unit(8) connected through the connection part. The lighting-emitting unit is equipped with a lamp, a battery, a switch, and a cylindrical case in which the battery is settled. In the outer circumference of the case and inner circumference of the connection part, a joint is prepared.
