PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an onboard device for surely sharing information in a vehicle. SOLUTION: The onboard device 10 receives information as device information such as a screen size, a module transmission speed, a possessed codec and residual capacity of a battery from a portable terminal device 50 which executes pairing processing to set authentication and encryption in both sides. After that, the onboard device 10 receives a request of transmitting various kinds of content from the portable terminal device, and if a transmission request is received, the onboard device 10 converts the format of the various content based on the received device information and transmits content to the portable terminal device.
