摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To demonstrate the power for driving a vehicle by a starter motor and to provide the drive assist force in a vehicular power unit of the hybrid type containing in a crank case a transmission in which a reduction gear train including a starter driven gear and a starting one-way clutch interposed between a starter driven gear and a crankshaft so as to permit the power transmission from the starter driven gear to the crank shaft side are provided between a starter motor and the crank shaft, and a selectively-established gear train of a plurality of speed changes is provided between a main shaft and a counter shaft. SOLUTION: A power transmission gear 77 to be engaged with a starter driven gear 70 is supported by a main shaft 44 in a relatively rotatable manner via a traveling one-way clutch 78 for permitting the power transmission from the power transmission gear 77 to the main shaft 44 side.
