PURPOSE: To reduce the size of an unequal-speed coupler and easily manufacture the coupler. CONSTITUTION: A coupling device for transmission of torque at a variable angle in use for a steering column of an automobile or other applications includes a first member 12, having a slender shaft and a slender head 27 formed in an approximate T-shape and having respective axes. Each axis is located nearly at a right angle. A second member 14 is provided with a housing having a slender groove 16 arranged. The groove 16 is dimensioned and configured so as to accept the head 27 of the first member 12. |
