PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when the other retrieval request is made during the execution of certain retrieval, it is not possible to perform the other retrieval until retrieval during execution is completed. SOLUTION: This protocol processor is configured to compares data outputted by a retrieval database 101 for retrieval during execution with a retrieval key for another retrieval by any comparison/retrieval device other than the comparison/retrieval device 104 during the execution of retrieval when the other retrieval request is made during the execution of retrieval by at least one of a plurality of comparison/retrieval devices 104, and sets the retrieval end address of the other retrieval based on the address at which the other retrieval has been started.
