A dust separator of a vacuum cleaner stores collecting water and comprises an inlet through which dirt-entrained air is drawn in and an outlet through which filtered air is discharged. The inlet is disposed in a center of the dust separator and the dust separator comprises a rotating device to uniformly spray the air drawn in through the inlet in all directions on a horizontal plane, thereby rotating the air. The collecting water shakes in a uniform pattern by the air sprayed by the rotating device.
