<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foreign object detection sensor capable of simplifying wiring at a sensor terminal part. <P>SOLUTION: The foreign object detection sensor 11 is provided with a long sensor part 12 having a detection electrode 51 for detecting proximity of a foreign object and electrode lines 41-44 for detecting contact of the foreign object, and further is provided with a proximity detection function for detecting proximity of the foreign object to the sensor part 12 and a contact detecting function for detecting contact of the foreign object to the sensor part 12. In the foreign object detection sensor 11, the electrode lines 41-44, the detection electrode 51, and leads 71-75 extracted from a sensor terminal part 13 are electrically connected at the sensor terminal part 13 arranged at one end part of the sensor part 12. Then, on the sensor terminal part 13, the electrode lines 41-44 and the detection electrode 51 are connected, and there is arranged a detection circuit unit 82 for performing the proximity detection function and the contact detection function together with the electrode lines 41-44 and the detection electrode 51, and a supporting member 81 is provided for supporting the detection circuit unit 82. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
