The holder (1) has two holding parts (7) that form a common opening (12) for accommodating a container in one position, and form separate openings for accommodating two containers in another position. One of the holding parts (7) is provided with a circular area (9) and the other holding part is provided with an U-shaped area. The separate openings are formed by an U-form of one of the other holding part and a ring section of the circular area. The holding parts are adjustable relative to each other.
