<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an "input device" for easily performing the operation of a list menu even when a display screen and an operation part are separated from each other. <P>SOLUTION: An input device includes: a display means for displaying a plurality of menu items in a list; a touch type input means; a touch position detection means for detecting a position where the touch type input means has been touched and a position where the touch has been released; a moving amount detection means for detecting the moving amounts and moving directions from the position where the touch type input means has been touched to the position where the touch has been released; and a control means for, when the moving amounts are within prescribed amounts, making a function assigned to the list item corresponding to the position where the touch has been released execute, and for, when the moving amounts exceed the prescribed amounts, scrolling the plurality of list items displayed on the screen.
