<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize an ejecting characteristic of fluid. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The fluid ejecting apparatus has a head which ejects the fluid to a medium by a driving signal, a moving mechanism which relatively moves the head and the medium in a predetermined direction, a driving signal generating unit which generates the driving signal that produces a plurality of driving waveforms during a cycle in accordance with a relative moving velocity of the head and the medium in the predetermined direction and that repeatedly produces the plurality of driving waveforms for each cycle, and a control unit which makes the fluid ejected from the head while the head and the medium are relatively moved in the predetermined direction and which makes the driving signal generating unit produce the driving signal wherein a first driving waveform among the plurality of driving waveforms produced during the cycle is corrected on the basis of the relative moving velocity.
