PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove waste ink so as not to lower ink absorbing performance of an ink absorbing member 40 on a supporting body 42 in a flashing part over a long period of time. SOLUTION: A rotary shaft 47a at both ends of a roll 47 is supported only to move up and down on the lower surface side of a supporting bracket 49 interlocked with reciprocating movement of a movable supporting body of a platen. Upward movement of rollers 53 at both ends of the rotary shaft 47a is regulated in the middle part of a regulation rail 55, and the lower surface of the roll 47 pushes the surface of the ink absorbing member 40 to compress the thickness of the ink absorbing member 40. A portion where ink has become like a solid on the surface of the ink absorbing member 40 is crushed by rolling operation of the roll 47 interlocked with the reciprocating movement of the movable supporting body, and also the roll 47 moves while squeezing the waste ink accumulated in the ink absorbing member 40.
