The traction or plunger rod (10) has a main part (1) carrying traction-and pressure load, and end sections (2), which are connected with the load elements (5) of the structure. A section of the main part is displaced around a defined magnitude against the load element after the connection of load elements and end sections by exceeding a threshold of a pressure load. The load element is fixed at the assigned end section or the main part of the rod in the displaced condition.
