PURPOSE: An indicating device of the remaining amount of liquid in a tank is provided to accurately indicate the remaining amount of liquid in a tank on an indicating unit without the raise of the manufacturing cost of a tank and a remaining-amount indicating device. CONSTITUTION: An indicating device(A) of the remaining amount of liquid in a tank comprises a floater(31), a position detecting unit(33), an indicating unit(54) and a control unit(H). The floater moves up and down according to the remaining amount of liquid in the tank. The position detecting unit detects the position of the floater. The indicating unit indicates the remaining amount of liquid in the tank. The control unit indicates the remaining amount of liquid to the detected value of the position detecting unit on the indicating unit. On the indicating unit, the remaining amount of liquid to the detected value of the position detecting unit is indicated.
