<p>Provided is an abnormality detection and vehicle tracking device which can detect abnormality and issue an alarm when an in-vehicle battery is removed, and can prevent the false detection of abnormality when the battery is dead. An abnormality detection device (10) for detecting the abnormal state of a vehicle on the basis of the battery voltage of an in-vehicle battery (63), which is detected by a voltage sensor (32), is provided with a timer (27) for timing a predetermined period of time, and an operation mode switching means (17) for performing switching to an operation mode in which a warning means (40) and the like are operated when determining that a vehicle is in the abnormal state. When the battery voltage becomes a predetermined voltage or lower within the predetermined period of time (for example, 20 seconds) after turn-off of an ignition SW (60), the operation mode switching means (17) does not determine that the vehicle is in the abnormal state. When the battery voltage becomes the predetermined voltage or lower after a lapse of the predetermined period of time and the decrease rate of the battery voltage is a predetermined value or more, the operation mode switching means determines that the vehicle is in the abnormal state, and performs switching to the operation mode in which the warning means (40) and the like are operated.</p> |
