摘要 The invention relates to geoelectrical exploration by an induced polarization method and is used for forecasting hydrocarbon deposits. Multichannel bottom stations are installed, which cover the profile that is to be investigated. A boat with a generating line in the form of a horizontal or vertical dipole is moved to a distance of 5-15 km from the furthermost bottom station. The generating line is towed along the line of bottom stations to a point situated at the same distance beyond the last bottom station. Field excitation is produced by means of rectangular alternating-sign pulses transmitted to a generating dipole. Signal displays are recorded at the bottom stations not only during the intervals but also during current generation. Data files are generated about the dependence of the value of a signal at a frequency corresponding to the full period of the generating signal and the nearest odd harmonics on the distance between the station and the generating dipole. The data of the temporal and remote soundings are simultaneously inverted, the resistance and polarization characteristics of the bottom rocks are determined and the presence of hydrocarbon deposits is judged according to anomalies in the above.
