<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation mode change method determination device, a display terminal, a determination method and an operation mode change method determination program, for allowing optimization of a change method of an operation mode according to an image made to be displayed even when information such as the kind of the image is not previously associated to the image. <P>SOLUTION: When image data are acquired, the acquired image data are analyzed, and at least one of a document area, a figure area, and a photograph area of the image is extracted (S2). About each extracted area, an estimation browsing time that is a time of estimation wherein a user brows the area is deduced (S6).
