PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an armature of an AC servo motor and an AC servo motor capable of reducing withstand-voltage failure between a stator core and an armature winding, accurately positioning a winding bobbin, and reducing breakage of the armature winding. SOLUTION: In the armature of the AC servo motor, a bobbin inner core contact section 19 that is on a counter-load side within the hollow section 2A of a winding bobbin 1 is provided with a bobbin inner core run-off section 17 in a region facing the vicinity of an edge section 3C of an inner core 3. A bobbin outer core contact section 18 that is a region facing the contact section of an outer core 4 is formed into a planar surface.
