摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a maximum transmission rate of each data flow even when a buffer size is small, in a situation where a plurality of data flows for performing data flow control share a certain amount of buffer.

SOLUTION: In this data transmission system 1 including a transmission device 2 for transmitting one or more data flows, and a reception device 3 for receiving one or more data flows, wherein the reception device 3 includes a buffer 10 for temporarily storing data of the one or more data flows transmitted from the transmission device 2, the reception device 3 includes a data volume calculation part 11 as a means to calculate the data volume of the one or more data flows allowing the transmission device 2 to transmit themselves based on the empty capacity of the buffer 10 and the retention situation of the one or more data flows on a network 4.
