<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording method for executing calibration of positions of recording heads and a camera with a simple construction by utilizing the conventional device construction as it is. <P>SOLUTION: In the image recording method including: a calibration pattern forming step of forming a head calibration pattern for performing calibration of positions of the recording heads on one sheet of long recording material wound in a roll shape by the plurality of recording heads and a camera calibration pattern for calibrating the position of the camera; and a measuring step of measuring positional errors of the heads and the positional error of the camera by imaging the head calibration pattern and the camera calibration pattern by using the camera, recording positions of an image by the plurality of recording heads are corrected by utilizing the positional errors obtained in the measuring step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
