<p>The harvester (2) i.e. self-propelled field chopper (1), has a chopping drum (12) comprising a chopping blade (11), and a grinding device (19) driven by a drive. A frame (3) is supported by front and rear-sided wheels (4), and a warning device is arranged in a driver's cabin. The grinding unit is attached to the drum, and has a grinding tool for grinding of the blade. A storage and evaluation unit (25) is provided for conveying a prediction about wear of the blade based on harvested good and/or machine parameters that are determined during a harvest operation of the harvester.</p> |
