<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shower device which discards unheated water, the shower device efficiently performing the operation of discarding unheated water by reducing the amount of unheated water to be discarded. <P>SOLUTION: The shower device includes a shower water discharge part, a solenoid valve for controlling water discharge from the shower water discharge part and water stoppage, a water temperature detection means for detecting that a water temperature inside piping disposed upstream of the shower water discharge part is at or above a prescribed temperature, and a control part which has a unheated water discarding mode in which cold water remaining inside the piping upstream of the shower water discharge part is discarded from the shower water discharge part and replacing the inside of the piping upstream of the shower water discharge part with hot water by controlling the solenoid valve. In the unheated water discarding mode, while the solenoid valve is opened for the first prescribed time, when the prescribed temperature or higher is detected by the water temperature detection means for the second prescribed time shorter than the first prescribed time, control is executed so as to close the solenoid valve. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
