<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of curing a radiation curable type fluid. <P>SOLUTION: A radiation is emitted from an array of a light emitting diode (LED) (102) toward ink to be cured. The LED is inexpensive, light-weighted, highly efficient in conversion of electric power, and switched effectively to full power in a short time. A radiation emission spectrum of the LED has a sharp peak in the vicinity of a nominal frequency. A low-oxygen environment is provided preferably by a radiation supply source, to accelerate a curing reaction.
