<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shower device which discards unheated water, the shower device having the simplified structure and preventing cold water from being easily put on the body of a user. <P>SOLUTION: The shower device includes a shower water discharge part, a solenoid valve for controlling water discharge from the shower water discharge part and water stoppage, a control part which has a unheated water discarding mode in which cold water present inside piping upstream of the shower water discharge part is discarded from the shower water discharge part and replacing the inside of the piping upstream of the shower water discharge part with hot water by controlling the solenoid valve, and an operation part for performing the input of the unheated water discarding mode. The unheated water discarding mode includes a standby process in which the solenoid valve is closed and an execution process of opening the solenoid valve and executing unheated water discarding.
