PURPOSE: A charger circuit for a secondary battery and a secondary battery thereof are provided to prevent the damage of a first reverse current prevention part due to reverse charge by including a second reverse current prevention part. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery comprises a bare cell(110), a protection circuit(120), and a charge circuit(140). The protection circuit is connected to the bare cell. The protection circuit has an anode terminal and a cathode terminal. The charge circuit is connected to the bare cell. The charge circuit has an anode charger terminal and a cathode charger terminal. The charge circuit comprises a first and a second reverse current prevention part. The first reverse current prevention part prevents a charge current from flowing into the cathode charger terminal. The second reverse current prevention part prevents the damage of the first reverse current prevention part due to reverse charge.
