<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable excellently eliminating deformation of a deformation part of paper sheets. Ž<P>SOLUTION: By using a paper sheet carrying device including an air-blowing pipe, a sending-in device for sending the paper sheets 32 into the air-blowing pipe, an air current generator for generating an air current in the air-blowing pipe and a collecting device for collecting the paper sheets 32 carried in the air-blowing pipe to a tail end part of the air-blowing pipe, a rear end part of the paper sheets 32 is deformed in a bending or curved shape by a bending device arranged in the sending-in device, and a bending or curved part is openably regulated by squeezing the bending or curved part by abutting on an inside surface of the bending or curved part of the sending-in paper sheets by a projection part 302 of a squeegee 301 arranged on this side of a correction part of the collecting device, and the deformation of the paper sheets 32 is corrected by successively bending in the inverse direction by passing the paper sheets 32 in a zigzag shape by a correction roller possessed by a correction part.
