PLASMA DISPLAY AND DRIVING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A plasma display device and a method thereof are provide to the brightness of a black color by reducing the voltage difference between a scan electrode and a sustain electrode when the load of a back color is increased. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of first electrodes and a plurality of second electrodes are extended side by side. A plurality of pixels respectively has a plurality of discharge cells. A plurality of discharge cells define the first electrode and the second electrode. A driving unit apply a first reset waveform to the first electrode for a reset period. The driving unit apply a second reset waveform to a second electrode for the reset period. A controller controls at least one of the first rest waveform voltage and the second rest waveform voltage.
