HIGH EFFICIENCY DUAL MODE OUTPUT POWER SWITCHING APPARATUS FOR WIDEBAND AMPLIFIER

PURPOSE: An output-power switching apparatus for a wideband amplifier using a high-efficiency dual-mode is provided to minimize power loss by switching a drain voltage using one wideband amplifier. CONSTITUTION: An input terminal of a direct current-direct current(DC-DC) converter(20) is connected with the output terminal of a power supply unit. The DC-DC converter changes a voltage inputted from the output terminal of the power supply unit. A switching unit(30) selectively switches the power input terminal of a wideband amplifier into the output terminal of the power supply unit and the output terminal of the DC-DC converter. The switching unit includes a switching transistor(31), a diode(32), and a switching driving circuit(33).
