MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR GLASS SUBSTRATE

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a glass substrate that can suppress springback of a blank material at a high level. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for the glass substrate includes: a step of obtaining a disk-shaped blank material whose one face is an almost convex lens shape that becomes gradually thicker from the outer peripheral part toward the center and whose the other face is a planar shape or an almost convex lens shape that becomes gradually thicker from the outer peripheral part toward the center; a step of forming a center hole in the blank material; and a step of polishing at least one face of the blank material.
