PURPOSE: A position switch of a sub-transmission for a vehicle is provided to prevent errors due to contact failure and to be permanently used by contactless position determination using a magnet and a coil. CONSTITUTION: A position switch of a sub-transmission for a vehicle comprises a body(3), a shaft(1), a diaphragm seal(4), a pusher(5), a permanent magnet(7), a substrate(10) and a terminal base(9). The shaft is installed in the body and reciprocates forward and backward. The diaphragm seal is installed in front of the shaft. The pusher is installed in front of the diaphragm seal. One end of the permanent magnet is installed on the pusher. The substrate generates the position information along with the on/OFF information. The terminal base outputs the signal of the substrate to outside.
