<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter apparatus that prevents a fault due to a power supply miswiring where a power supply and a motor are connected reversely and warn the miswiring. <P>SOLUTION: The inverter apparatus includes a converter part 5, which converts an AC voltage into a DC voltage, a smoothing capacitor 6, which smoothes the output voltage of the converter part 5, and an inverter part 7, which drives the smoothed DC voltage into an AC voltage of variable frequency and a variable voltage so as to drive the motor 20. In the apparatus, a first rush current control resistor 13 is connected in series between the converter part 5 and the smoothing capacitor 6, and a first electromagnetic contactor 15, which short-circuits the first rush current control resistor 13, is provided, and besides, a second rush current control resistor 14 is connected in series between the inverter part 7 and the smoothing capacitor 6, and a second electromagnetic contactor 16, which short-circuits the second rush current control resistor 14, is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
