<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcasting apparatus for actualizing a broadcasting receiving device which has as small power consumption as possible and can shorten a channel selection time, and the broadcasting receiving apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The broadcasting apparatus 101 separates I frame data from video data included in service, extracts a part of each separated I frame data, and transmits a broadcast signal based upon first stream data generated from extracted data and second stream data generated from data excluding the separated I frame data of the video data included in the service and data excluding the extracted data of the separated I frame data. The broadcasting receiving apparatus 102 starts receiving first stream data of a received broadcast signal, and displays video data of the received first stream data in a display unit when the channel of the service is selected after the reception is started. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
