<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control device and method, capable of preventing the generation of resonance in a motor. <P>SOLUTION: The device includes the means for: detecting a rotating speed of a rotor 2 of the motor 20; deriving a vibration frequency of a periodic vibration generated in the motor 20 by the detected rotating speed; determining whether the derived vibration frequency is either a prescribed resonance frequency α or β; and correcting a voltage applied to a winding 6 of a plurality of phases so as to reduce the resonance, when the vibration frequency is either the resonance frequency α or β. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
