<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine which can impart versatility to the timing of performance wherein operation of an operating means associated with the progress of a game is utilized. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The slot machine includes: a main CPU 41a which controls the progress of the game according to the operation of the operating means, and transmits a command based on at least the progress of the game; and a sub-CPU 91a which controls the performance based on the received command. Each time the operating means is operated, the main CPU 41a transmits to the sub-CPU 91a an operation detection command indicating that the operation by the operating means is executed regardless of whether or not the operation of the operating means is received during a validation period.
