<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that processing requested by a user is disabled when the user receiving a service and a server providing the service cannot be connected to each other. <P>SOLUTION: The server for providing software processing requested from the user as a service selects one of a plurality of terminals connectable to the server as a representative terminal, downloads a first program which performs proxy processing of the server to the representative terminal, and periodically transmits user information necessary for providing the service of the plurality of terminals managed by the server to the representative terminal. The representative terminal executes the first program, and when determining that it is difficult to provide the service from the server according to the first program, instructs the terminals other than the representative terminal to access the representative terminal instead of the server. The terminals other than the representative terminal access the representative terminal instead of the server, and the representative terminal provides the service to the representative terminal and the terminals other than the representative terminal on the basis of the user information in place of the server. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
