<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To instruct a right insertion direction of paper in a display panel unit when the arranging order of data of the created bitmap data does not agree with an assumed printing direction for paper to be fed in an image forming apparatus. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The insertion direction of paper is correctly displayed in a display panel based on the data arrangement order of created bitmap data when urging paper reinsertion on the occurrence of faults in the image forming apparatus, thereby eliminating the occurrence of printing halt due to disagreement of the data arrangement order and the printing direction.
