PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile information terminal capable of controlling the changes in the display of a display device which is bendable, based on user's opening/closing operation. SOLUTION: The mobile information terminal 10, having a bendable display part 11, includes an angle sensor 25 for detecting an angle of planes, sandwiching a bending portion of display part 11; and in the mobile information terminal, a control part 21 transmits a command for performing display suited to a state of the display part 11 to a display control part 24, based on the angle information detected by the angle sensor 25; and the display control part 24 generates image information, based on the command and displays the generated image information on the display part 11.
