MOBILE STATION, WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, METHOD OF DETECTING ABNORMAL CELL ID, AND PROGRAM

A method of detecting abnormalities in cell IDs without using methods which use reports from a neighboring base station, in environments where the reference signals between neighboring cells are not in sync. After a mobile station (UE) loses synchronization with the reference signal of a cell it is in call connection with, then once again synchronizes with a cell that has the same ID as the previously mentioned cell, that call connection becomes released. The mobile station (UE) stores that event and notifies the occurrence of the event along with the cell ID to a base station the next time call connection occurs (FIG 3).
