<p>There is disclosed a fuel block such as a hearth block, a patio block or a heat block, comprising combustible components and binder materials, among which vegetable or animal oils and/or fats and/or one or more wax kinds. The block comprises between 5 and 50 wt.% compressed wood pellets. It has been found that the block offers numerous advantages in terms of burning time, flame height, average temperature and average heat emission temperature in comparison with blocks having the same weight that do not contain said compressed wood pellets.</p> |
