<p>Aqueous solution of modified silicates, obtained by reacting an aqueous solution of silicate compounds (I) with at least one silane compound (II) at 5-100[deg] C, and subsequently removing the obtained alcohol during the reaction, is claimed, where the aqueous solution of modified silicates is free of organic solvents. Aqueous solution of modified silicates, obtained by reacting an aqueous solution of silicate compounds of formula (M 2O.nSiO 2) (I) with at least one silane compound of formula (R-(CH 2) n-Si-(X) 3) (II) at 5-100[deg] C, and subsequently removing the obtained alcohol during the reaction, is claimed, where the aqueous solution of modified silicates is free of organic solvents. M : cation including Li +>, Na +>, K +>or NY1 4>; Y1 : H and/or 1-22C-alkyl or 1-22C-alkenyl; X : CH 3, OCH 3, OC 2H 5, OC 3H 7, OCOCH 3, H or Cl; R : optionally saturated, linear, branched or cyclic radical having at least one O and/or N and at least two C; and n : 1-3.</p> |
