A method for differentiated processing of appendix stump depending on clinical-morphological form of acute appendicitis consists in the processing of appendix stump with 5% iodine solution after it dissection and stump peritonezation in purse-string and Z-shaped sutures. Patients with destructive forms of acute appendicitis are subjected to appendix stump demucozation with its subsequent processing by Oktenisept solution.
