A mass-transfer apparatus for interaction of gas (steam) with liquid comprises a housing with overflow devices and perforated plates with nozzles arranged by the height, above each of them at a distance from the surface of the plate an arched element is located, from the exit side of which slots are made. The arched elements are made with a narrowing on the inlet side and further expansion of the living section of a curved channel.
