<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for folding and aligning noodle strings, capable of folding the noodle strings as an easily loosening form in a good efficiency. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method for folding and aligning the noodle strings includes: a double-folding process of folding a noodle string belt (b) supplied as a hanging form from the discharging end of a supplying conveyer 1 as a vertically overlapping double-folded form by using a noodle string-folding table 2 to make a double-folded noodle string belt (c); a pushing out process of adding a double-folded form horizontal to the double-folded noodle string belt (c), to the double-folded noodle string belt (c) on the noodle string-folding table 2; an aligning process of housing while aligning to the form of folded noodle strings (d) by receiving the double-folded noodle string belt (c) pushed out from the pushing out process to the inside of an aligning case 13; and a conveying process of transferring the folded noodle strings (d) in the aligning case 13 aligned by the aligning process to a different position and taking out from the inside of the aligning case 13.
