<p>A network system comprises a control apparatus (10) and a plurality of terminals (20). The control apparatus (10) repetitively transmits a request signal (40) indicating a predetermined probability. The terminals (20), when having received the request signal (40), transmit response signals (50), which include identification information allocated to the terminals (20), with the probability indicated by the request signal (40). The control apparatus (10), when having received the response signals (50), transmits, based on the identification information included in the response signals (50), a notification signal (60). Each of the terminals (20) determines, based on the received notification signal (60), whether the terminal (20) has already responded. If having determined that the terminal (20) has already responded, the terminal (20) does not transmit the response signal (50) even if another request signal (40) is received. The control apparatus (10) then sets the probability, which is indicated by a request signal (40) to be transmitted next, to a value that is equal to or greater than the probability indicated by the previously transmitted request signal (40).</p> |
