<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery capable of fastening a bolt of an electrode terminal, by applying appropriate torque in the battery, having a constitution such that the bolt of the electrode terminal is drawn out of a terminal drawing out hole. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The battery 100 includes a battery case 20 in which an electrode body 80 and an electrolyte are housed, and an electrode terminal 10 fit to a terminal drawn out hole 26 formed in the case 20, passing through the drawn out hole 26, and drawn out of the inside of the case 20; the electrode terminal 10 includes a current collecting base part 30, electrically connected to an electrode body 80 inside the case 20, and an outside bolt part 40 projected from the current-collecting base part 30 to the outside of the case 20; and the outside bolt part 40 is made of a conductive material having a relatively higher strength than that of the current-collecting base part 30.
