MULTICAST METHOD AND MULTICAST ROUTING METHOD

A multicast method includes a process of adding a multicast group and a process of forwarding the multicast data packet, wherein, in the process of adding the multicast group, multicast forwarding guidance information identified by a multicast forwarding equivalence class is established at network nodes of a distributing tree or distributing sub tree; and in the process of forwarding the multicast data packet, the data packet of the same multicast forwarding equivalence class is forwarded according to the same multicast forwarding guidance information. Another multicast method includes that a collection of the multicast data packets forwarded in the same manner is divided to the multicast forwarding equivalence class; at network nodes of the distributing tree or distributing sub tree belonged to the multicast forwarding equivalence class, the multicast forwarding guidance information identified by the multicast forwarding equivalence class is statically configured; and the data packet of the same multicast forwarding equivalence class is forwarded according to the same multicast forwarding guidance information. And a multicast routing method is also disclosed.
