SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR POWER CONTROL OF USER TERMINAL USING DATA TRANSMISSION OF RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION

PURPOSE: A user terminal power control system using RFID data transmission and a method thereof are provided to turn on the power source of a user terminal in entrance check of an RFID card, thereby reducing time waste. CONSTITUTION: User terminals(600a-600f) have an MAC(Media Access Control) address. An RFID(Radio Frequency ID) card(100) stores a unique RFID card number. When it is touched with the RFID card, card readers(210-230) reads the RFID card number. A power control device(400) receives an RFID card number from the card reader and checks an MAC address of the user terminal matching in the RFID card number. The power control device controls the power source of the user terminal by transmitting magic packet or a disconnect command to the MAC address.
