<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for mounting a leather cover on a pad for an airbag device for surely breaking the leather cover along a break line together with the pad when deploying an airbag with an excellent feeling and design property in a part for bonding leather and leather. <P>SOLUTION: An end of the first leather 10 and an end of the second leather 20 to be bonded are turned down to form a first turndown piece 12 and a second turndown piece 22. The turndown parts of the first turndown piece 12 and the second turndown piece 22 are made to abut with each other, the abutted first turndown piece 12 and the second turndown piece 22 are bonded to form a bonding part 50 of the first leather 10 and the second leather 20. The bonding part 50 is aligned with the break line 61 of the pad 60, and the first turndown piece 12 and the second turndown piece 22 are contained in a containing recess 62 formed at the break line 61. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
