PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shelf lighting device for a showcase which has a linear LED lamp arranged on the lower surface of an merchandise display shelf is disposed via a simple resin lamp holder and is improved to variably adjust the attachment angle of the linear LED lamp in a desired direction. SOLUTION: In the shelf lighting device for a showcase where the linear LED lamp is disposed on the lower surface of the merchandise display shelf 5 via the lamp holder 11 with the linear LED lamp 10 having a square outer shape as a light source. The lamp holder 11 is a resin mold where a clip portion 11b is arranged at a C-shaped ring body 11a having partially notched circumference, a pair of lamp holders 11 are fixed side by side to the merchandise display shelf 5 via the clip portions 11b, and the linear LED lamp 10 is fitted to and put through the C-shaped ring bodies 11a so as to be spanned at a prescribed position. Besides, notched groove strings 11c engaged with the contour corners of the linear LED lamp 10 are formed in the inner peripheral surface of the C-shaped ring body 11a, thereby adjusting the attachment angle of the linear LED lamp 10 to the desired angle.
