PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tooling washing device for a machine tool, capable of certainly removing a foreign matter deposited on the tooling. SOLUTION: The tooling washing device for the machine tool for removing the foreign matter 4 deposited on the tooling 3 before the dimension of the tooling 3 is measured is constituted of a CCD camera 18 for photographing a distal end of the tooling 3 from a side; a tooling washing part 20 for injecting a detergent toward the tooling 3 to wash the tooling 3; and a control device 21 for determining whether or not the foreign matter 4 is deposited on the tooling 3 based on the image photographed by the CCD camera 18 and controlling the tooling washing part 20 based on the existence of deposition of the foreign matter 4.
