PURPOSE: An angle valve for a water meter is provided to prevent malfunction by blocking flowing foreign materials and to uniformly maintain water pressure by moving a female screw unit to the outside of water. CONSTITUTION: An angle valve for a water meter comprises a valve body(2), a valve control shaft(3), a disc(4), a cover(5), and a handle(6). A water inlet(7) and a water outlet(8) are vertically formed in the valve body. A male screw unit(12) and a sick shaft(11) operation hole(10) are formed in the valve control shaft. The disc is formed in the bottom of the disc shaft to control the flow of tap water. An actuating pipe(17) for the valve control shaft is fastened to the top end of the valve body. A female screw unit(13) is formed in the inner side of the actuating pipe.
